About Us

Anwar was destined to create and share high-quality food and to delight & connect with others through culinary experiences. From the time Anwar was toddling around to his teen years, he was surrounded by the rich aromas of his parents and grandparents savory & sweet dishes filling up the kitchen.

It was around the dinner table that his family not only shared good food with him, but also imparted and ingrained in him his values related to food, family, & community.

Anwar pursued a career in culinary arts and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Since then he has become a member of the ACF, professional certified chef, and worked alongside the best chefs in the industry.

As his experience grew, Anwar noticed a gap in the food industry in Hiram, GA. And as an entrepreneur who loves problem-solving, Anwar was determined to fill that gap. He looked for the best chefs and pulled them together in support of his mission to create a local catering company that would offer high-quality Halal foods. His goal was to satisfy even the most demanding of guests, and he has succeeded! All of Hiram is raving about the great tastes & presentations of Affextionate Cuizine’s catering services.

After kick-starting catering services and getting raving reviews about both flavor and presentations, Anwar & his team identified a new area of opportunity in service to the local community. Due to the Covid crisis in 2020, Affextionate Cuizine launched their custom meal-prep delivery service – a line of business they chose to continue as restaurants reopened, due to its continued success.

Along with reopenings came the exciting groundbreaking for the NEW Affextionate Cuizine cafe – a local venue where people will not only enjoy good food, but also great connections and conversations. Stay tuned for further updates on our Cafe opening!
